Inova Neurosciences is hosting the renowned Neuroradiology and Neuropathology courses, formerly known as the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) courses, in January 2026.
The legacy of Dr. Kenneth M. Earle lives on through these paired “short courses,” designed for residents, fellows, and practicing physicians preparing for their board examinations in neuroscience specialties.
Prepare for five days of rigorous, high-level education led by world-renowned experts in neuropathology and neuroradiology. The course includes two days focused on neuroradiology, followed by three intensive days of neuropathology.

Neuroradiology Section:
Monday, January 12, 2026 – Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (concludes at 12:00 noon on Tuesday)
Neuropathology Section:
Begins Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST and runs through Friday, January 16, 2026
